The Amalgamated Transit Union Local 85 has organized a trip to Harrisburg for a rally and lobby day for adequate, dedicated funding for public transit. The trip is free.

The buses will leave at 6:30 AM from in front of the United Steelworkers building on the corner of Boulevard of the Allies and Stanwix Streets. We will visit members of the House and Senate and then have a rally in the rotunda at 3 PM. We will arrive back in Pittsburgh between 8-9 PM.

We will be joined by workers and riders from Philadelphia, whose transit system is facing a similar crisis.
